As a Business Management Analyst within the CB Payments Business Management team, your role will include delivering management reports on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis, automating both new and existing reporting capabilities using tools like Excel, Alteryx, and SQL, and providing guidance on potential efficiencies. Additionally, you will create PowerPoint presentations to support business-as-usual activities. Regular engagement with stakeholders, business/segment leaders, and peers on a global scale will also be a key aspect of your role.

Support the Business Management team with reporting, analytics, and project coordination. This role focuses on building and maintaining management reporting, preparing review materials, tracking KPIs, and assisting with process improvements and automation under guidance from senior team members.

Job responsibilities

  • Partner with the Business Management team to support business priorities and day‑to‑day execution.
  • Assist with finance and business management activities, including creation, maintenance, and QA of sales/management reporting and dashboards.
  • Prepare and update materials for QBRs, OC reviews, and other senior‑management forums; compile inputs and ensure data accuracy.
  • Develop and track performance metrics; perform recurring and ad‑hoc analysis and summarize insights clearly.
  • Coordinate small workstreams and project tasks, maintain trackers, and follow up on action items.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency; help prototype solutions and automations (e.g., in Excel, Alteryx).
  • Leverage multiple data sources to produce decision‑support reports and basic analytics, ensuring documentation and version control.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 1 year of experience in business management, reporting, or data analysis (strong internships/co‑op experience considered).
  • Storytelling aptitude and slide‑building skills for management updates.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to work with large data sets and present concise conclusions.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills; strong attention to detail and data quality.
  • Highly motivated self‑starter with good time management and prioritization skills; comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Collaborative team player with a service mindset and stakeholder orientation.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA (Finance) is an advantage.
  • Advanced excel & power point skills.
  • Basic SQL and/or Alteryx experience; willingness to learn advanced data tools.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; exposure to Alteryx preferred.
  • Experience supporting multiple projects with tight timelines and evolving priorities.
