As a Business Management Associate within Corporate Advisory, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing business performance and supporting strategic objectives. You will work closely with senior management and cross-functional partners, helping to coordinate the deployment of resources and drive key initiatives. You will build a broad network across the firm, gaining exposure to multiple asset classes and sustainability-focused projects. Your contributions will help advance the firm’s goals in sustainable development and climate transition, while fostering a positive and inclusive team environment.

Job responsibilities

  • Support the Corporate Advisory business in executing strategic and tactical objectives.
  • Collaborate with Front Office, Sustainability, Strategy, Risk, Finance, Compliance, Legal, and other internal functions.
  • Provide leverage to management through process development, controls, technology solutions, and project management.
  • Represent the group in various forums and support the Global Business Manager as a trusted advisor.
  • Drive business performance management, including business reviews, competitive positioning, and resource management.
  • Proactively identify and resolve issues and risks impacting the business.
  • Understand and enhance market and climate-related data management frameworks.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure effective execution of priorities.
  • Draft high-impact presentations and documentation for senior management.
  • Maintain strong relationships with internal counterparts across the firm.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience with or interest in investment banking, sustainability, climate transition, or adaptation.
  • Robust understanding of investment banking products and broader corporate advisory solutions.
  • Relevant professional qualifications in finance, accounting, economics, or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and quantitative analysis skills.
  • Proficient in Excel modeling and comfortable working with large datasets.
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Ability to convey information clearly, accurately, and succinctly.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with senior stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
  • Strong time management skills with ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables.
