Are you a skilled data professional with a passion to transform raw data into actionable insights, and a demonstrated history of learning and implementing new technologies?
As a Data Domain Architect Lead, within the Consumer and Community Banking Finance Data and Insights Team, you will play a key role in delivering monthly internal, external, and regulatory financial results for the Auto line of business and identify opportunities to eliminate manual processes and utilize automation tools such as Alteryx, and partner with our Information Technology partners for system enhancements.
Job Responsibilities
- Transform and modernize of the data environment to meet the analytical and reporting needs of the Chase Auto Finance organization.
- Lead requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders at all levels and manage detailed project planning and execution using JIRA.
- Collaborate with the Technology Team to design and deliver data domains into the Finance Data Mart, integrating essential data categories to support Finance analytics and reporting.
- Apply expertise in data architecture, integration, and warehousing; foster strong collaboration with stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational objectives and perform detailed reconciliations between data systems and business intelligence tools to ensure data accuracy.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and escalation point for deployed solutions; partner with IT to migrate solutions to production and support end-users and IT during UAT, validating that production results meet business requirements and expectations.
- Respond promptly to ad-hoc requests, "what-if" scenario analyses, and regulatory inquiries and develop deep expertise in financial reporting platforms and provide support for data analysis requests.
- Mentor team members, sharing subject matter expertise to enhance team proficiency.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, or other with relevant work experience; 10+ years’ experience in data analytics, architecture, or financial reporting systems
- Proven track record in process improvement and automation and knowledge of data quality management, including profiling, cleansing, and validation
- Strong understanding of data management, lineage, dictionaries, and data discoverability
- Skilled in SQL for large dataset analysis, report creation, and ad-hoc queries
- Experience with business intelligence and data wrangling tools (e.g., Alteryx, Python)
- Experience in reporting development, testing, and interpreting unstructured data
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, specifically with Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred qualifications capabilities, and skills
- AWS, Databricks, Snowflake, or other Cloud Data Warehouse experience.
- Alteryx or ThoughtSpot.
- Experience eliminating user tools, saving time, and increasing ability to generate insights through data, dashboards, and developing new capabilities.
