Senior Graphic Designer - CCB Communications, Consumer Banking

The Consumer & Community Banking (CCB) Communications team is seeking a senior graphic designer with deep expertise in executive presentation design and visual storytelling. This role supports high-impact communications across CCB with a primary focus on Consumer Banking and materials that advance JPMorganChase’s consumer banking strategy.
This role is centered on executive presentation design for high-stakes moments. You will be responsible for shaping and designing presentations used in critical leadership forums, strategic reviews and internal‑ and external‑facing events. Success in this role requires strong narrative judgment, visual rigor and the ability to distill complex information into clear, persuasive and executive-ready stories. PowerPoint is the primary tool used to deliver this work but the core requirement is excellence in executive presentation design regardless of medium.
As a key member of the CCB Multimedia Center of Excellence, you will partner closely with communications, editorial, brand and business stakeholders to deliver visually compelling, on-brand assets that inform, influence and drive alignment among senior audiences.
Job responsibilities
- Serve as a lead executive presentation designer for CCB Communications, owning the visual design, structure and storytelling of presentations used in high-stakes leadership forums and internal‑ and external‑facing events
- Partner with communications strategists and business stakeholders to translate complex narratives, data and strategy into clear, persuasive and visually refined executive presentations
- Shape presentation narratives through layout, hierarchy, pacing and visual storytelling to support decision-making and audience understanding
- Design high-quality visual assets across presentations, web, video, social media and email with executive presentations as the primary focus
- Own the design process from concept through final delivery ensuring alignment with communications goals, business priorities and brand standards
- Clearly articulate design rationale and visual recommendations to communications partners and executive stakeholders
- Manage multiple concurrent projects and timelines coordinating with freelance designers or external agencies as needed
- Collaborate with communications, editorial and creative partners on storyboards, presentation outlines and production briefs to support integrated communications efforts
- Serve as a brand and design steward within CCB Communications ensuring consistency with JPMorganChase brand guidelines
- Advise stakeholders on presentation approach and execution balancing clarity, speed and executive expectations
- Contribute to the evolution of executive presentation and visual storytelling standards within the MMCoE including thoughtful adoption of new tools and techniques
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- 6+ years of professional design experience in an agency or corporate communications environment with significant experience designing for executive audiences
- Demonstrated excellence in executive presentation design with a portfolio that includes high-stakes leadership, strategic or internal‑ and external‑facing presentations
- Strong command of visual storytelling including narrative structure, information hierarchy and executive-level polish
- High proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint as a primary presentation design tool
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite including Illustrator and Photoshop with experience in After Effects or Premiere a plus
- Exceptional visual design skills including layout, typography, composition and color usage
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain design decisions and influence outcomes with senior stakeholders
- Proven organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced collaborative environment
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with comfort working across functions and levels
- Self-motivated adaptable and able to deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines and shifting priorities
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, communications or a related field required
- Experience in financial services, technology or highly regulated environments a plus
- Familiarity with digital, UX/UI, responsive design and motion concepts a plus with the ability to collaborate effectively with developers and motion partners preferred
