As a Global Financial Resource Product Control Associate in Equity Product Control External Reporting, you lead the calculation, reporting, and forecasting of financial resources for our global equities business. You partner closely with Treasury, Corporate Reporting, and regional product control teams to deliver accurate results and a consolidated global view. You identify and implement process improvements that strengthen controls and efficiency. Together, we drive rigorous reporting that supports capital management, strong liquidity, and sustainable performance.

Job responsibilities

  • Calculate and timely report financial resources, including balance sheet and risk‑weighted assets, for the global equities business.
  • Forecast capital, liquidity, and performance metrics such as Tier 1 capital ratio, leverage ratio, and return on equity.
  • Produce, aggregate, and present variance analysis over time and versus alternative forecast scenarios.
  • Support external disclosures and ensure reporting aligns with regulatory requirements and accounting standards.
  • Investigate ad hoc requests, reconcile and adjust data, and explain key business activity to senior stakeholders.
  • Identify, design, and implement process improvements with robust, documented, and transparent controls.
  • Partner with business stakeholders and Treasury to advance balance sheet, leverage, and optimization goals.
  • Act as a conduit between regional teams across the Americas, EMEA, and Asia to consolidate a global view of activity.
  • Build clear, executive-ready presentations that communicate insights and recommendations.
  • Strengthen data integrity by establishing and maintaining control checkpoints and documentation.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in product control, financial control, accounting, or a closely related area.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a collaborative, results‑focused environment.
  • Keen attention to detail with a control and efficiency mindset.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Proven ability to build and sustain relationships with stakeholders across teams.
  • Ability to contribute to strategic change initiatives and process improvements.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Knowledge of regulatory capital frameworks and Basel capital rules.
  • Experience with equities, stock borrowing and lending, and derivatives products.
  • Experience with Microsoft Access.
  • Experience in financial resource forecasting and variance analysis.
  • Experience supporting external disclosures and regulatory reporting.
  • Experience working across global regions to consolidate reporting and insights.
  • Experience in process optimization, re‑engineering, and project management.
