Job Summary:
As a Vice President Fund Administration Oversight Manager based in Guernsey, you will lead end‑to‑end oversight of outsourced fund administration services for Guernsey‑domiciled open‑ and closed‑ended investment structures. Acting as the Designated Administrator and serving as a Director on the board of the JPMorgan administration entity, you will ensure compliance with GFSC requirements, the Protection of Investors (Bailiwick of Guernsey) Law, 2020, and the Guernsey AML Handbook. You will coordinate new fund launches and onboarding, partner closely with clients, counsel, boards, and internal teams (Sales, Onboarding, AML), and maintain a robust Oversight Monitoring Program across Fund Accounting, Transfer Agency, Investor AML, and Company Secretarial functions. The role includes active client relationship management and participation in regional Fund Services initiatives.
Job Responsibilities:
- Serve as Designated Administrator for Guernsey‑domiciled funds, ensuring regulatory compliance and required filings at onboarding and on an ongoing basis.
- Act as Director on the board of the JPMorgan administration entity, with day‑to‑day responsibility for regulated activities; represent the entity at Board, Outsourcing, and Risk & Control forums.
- Support the Securities Services business and clients across Guernsey‑domiciled open‑ and closed‑ended investment structures, delivering strong operational oversight and governance.
- Lead new fund launches and onboarding, collaborating with clients, counsel, and fund boards to meet regulatory authorisation and fund establishment requirements.
- Partner with Sales, Onboarding, and AML teams to align on fund structures, service scope, and KYC/AML requirements at onboarding and ongoing.
- Own and maintain the Oversight Monitoring Program for outsourced services in line with GFSC Outsourcing requirements, covering Fund Accounting, Transfer Agency, Investor AML, and Company Secretarial.
- Oversee client and investor KYC/AML at onboarding and on an ongoing basis, ensuring compliance with the Guernsey AML Handbook, including Customer Risk Assessments.
- Conduct monthly oversight calls with outsource partners and perform on‑site due diligence reviews; document outcomes and drive remediation actions.
- Manage client relationships through regular service calls, meetings, presentations, and attendance at client board meetings; track, escalate, and resolve issues.
- Provide local support to the Company Secretarial team across governance, filings, and board administration needs.
- Contribute to wider regional Fund Services initiatives and continuous improvement activities.
Required qualifications capabilities and skills
- Be suitably qualified and/or experienced (or working towards a relevant qualification) to meet Prescribed Person requirements under GFSC regulations for entities licensed under the Protection of Investors (Bailiwick of Guernsey) Law, 2020.
- Demonstrate fund administration experience with in‑depth industry and regulatory knowledge of the Guernsey funds sector.
- Operate effectively as a team player while working independently and prioritising deliverables in a fast‑paced environment.
- Communicate and present complex regulatory and operational topics clearly and effectively.
- Proactive attitude with the ability to multi‑task and meet tight deadlines.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience attending and presenting at client board meetings and formal governance forums.
- Hands‑on experience conducting on‑site due diligence and leading remediation with outsource partners.

Exposure to private equity funds, traditional funds, and hedge fund operating models supported in Guernsey.
