The J.P. Morgan Wealth Management (JPMWM) business is focused on helping investors achieve their long-term financial goals and comprised of the Chase Wealth Management (CWM) business, J.P. Morgan Advisors (JPMA) and Self-Directed Investing (SDI) - our digital investing platform. The combined business has $1 trillion in assets under supervision and ~5,600 advisors who work out of 4,800 branches throughout the United States, or in one of our offices.

As the J.P. Morgan Advisors Finance Team Vice President, you will work closely with key stakeholders within the JPMA business as well as the broader JPMWM team. Must be able to regularly interface with Advisors, Regional Directors, Control Partners and other senior level field managers and peers to answer questions, advise, present, and interpret financial and business information.

Job responsibilities:

  • Partner with strategy team on various ad hoc projects and analyses in support of financial and strategic goals
  • Collaborate with home office and field organization to develop and implement the various initiatives that will be the foundation for achieving the LOB’s strategic goals
  • Develop and enhance reporting to distribute to the channel’s field leadership to monitor and assess performance of advisors and channel

  • Maintain a comprehensive view of the competitive landscape; leverage industry expertise and competitive insights to develop thoughtful performance metrics that are aligned with the firm’s strategic goals

  • Provide strategic analytical support for the JPMA home office and field organization, with responsibility for planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and/or evaluating each Region’s performance from every relevant perspective

  • Review and monitoring of channel expenses to ensure alignment to budget
  • Oversee/prepare business review materials

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • ~7+ years of relevant Financial Services experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills: ability to interact with C-Suite and Field personnel.
  • Ability to work independently and a strong analytical thinker.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communications and ability to tailor message and style to different constituencies (e.g., Field, Finance, Executive Management) .
  • Knowledge and understanding of financial principles and ability to link results to activities.
  • Strong personal management and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple (and changing) project deliverables at same time.
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint and Excel).

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Familiarity with Alteryx and Tableau.
