Payments Product Manager - Senior Associate for Pix

The Pix area is responsible for Brazil's instant payment product, including B2B and B2C transfers, QR Code payments, MED, request to pay and integration with the Brazilian Central Bank's infrastructure. The team works cross-functionally with Technology, Channels, Operations, Implementation, Customer Service, Sales, and Regulatory teams to ensure stable, scalable, and customer-centric Pix solutions.

This role is critical to ensuring the stability, evolution, and quality of Pix products, acting as a bridge between strategy and day-to-day execution. As a Product Associate you will act as the main point of contact for Pix-related products, balancing operational excellence with product development and stakeholder management.

Job Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the day-to-day operations and evolution of Pix products, ensuring stability, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement
  • Act as the primary product point of contact for Technology, Operations, Customer Services, Sales, Implementation, and other partner areas
  • Monitor Pix product performance, incidents, and operational issues, ensuring timely resolution and proper communication
  • Support and coordinate system migrations and technical evolutions related to Pix infrastructure and features
  • Ensure Pix products comply with Brazilian Central Bank regulations, operational standards, and internal governance requirements
  • Contribute to product improvements by identifying gaps, pain points, and opportunities based on operational data and stakeholder feedback
  • Maintain clear and up-to-date Pix product documentation and processes
  • Provide executive updates, workshops, and cross-functional forums
  • Participate in testing, validation, and go-live activities for new Pix features and system changes

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • 4+ years of professional experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge in Pix, instant payments, banking products, financial services, or product/project roles
  • Solid understanding of Pix payment flows and operational processes
  • Ability to manage multiple demands simultaneously and prioritize effectively
  • Strong communication skills and comfort interacting with multiple stakeholders
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in English and Portuguese
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in a client-facing role

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Experience with Pix products and Brazilian Central Bank (BACEN) regulations
  • Exposure to system migrations or large-scale technology projects
  • Familiarity with SPI (Sistema de Pagamentos Instantâneos) and DICT (Diretório de Identificadores de Contas Transacionais)
  • Experience working in cross-functional or agile environments
  • Knowledge of ISO 20022 messaging standards, API integrations, dashboards, or data analysis tools
  • Understanding of Pix use cases
