As a Salesforce Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Consumer & Community Banking Team, you are an integral part of an agile team that works to enhance, build, and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. As a core technical contributor, you are responsible for conducting critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm’s business objectives.
Job responsibilities:
- Executes creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems
- Develops secure high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by others
- Identifies opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability of software applications and systems
- Leads evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams to drive outcomes-oriented probing of architectural designs, technical credentials, and applicability for use within existing systems and information architecture
- Leads communities of practice across Software Engineering to drive awareness and use of new and leading-edge technologies
- Adds to team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience.
- Strong expertise in Salesforce Apex, triggers, batch processing, and Asynchronous Apex.
- Design, develop and maintain Salesforce solutions using Lightning Web Components (LWC), Lightning Aura Components and other Salesforce technologies
- Expertise in Process Builder, Workflow Rules, and Salesforce Flows.
- Proficient in REST and SOAP APIs for data integration (JSON, XML).
- Skilled in Visualforce, Apex, CSS, JavaScript for custom solutions in Salesforce Clouds.
- Expertise in Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Data Cloud.
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce using tools such as Github, Jenkins, to automate and streamline deployment processes.
- Worked with security and sharing rules implementation at object, field, and record level for different users at various levels of organization and Single Sign-On (SSO) setup
- Developed and deployed custom APIs in AWS to interact with Salesforce, utilizing AWS Direct Connect for secure access and efficient data handling.
- Strong experience in API development for third-party integrations and business process automation.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Certifications in target areas (Salesforce PD1, PD2, Application Architect).
- SFMC (Marketing Cloud) B2B marketing: campaigns, email templates, dynamic content.
- 10+ years in IT, with 5+ years specializing in Salesforce CRM specialized in Configuration, Customization, Development and Integration.
