DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Design, develop and implement software solutions. Solve business problems through innovation and engineering practices. Involved in all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) including analyzing requirements, incorporating architectural standards into application design specifications, documenting application specifications, translating technical requirements into programmed application modules, and developing or enhancing software application modules. Take active role in code reviews to ensure solutions are aligned to pre-defined architectural specifications. Assist with design reviews by recommending ways to incorporate requirements into designs and information or data flows. Participate in project planning sessions with project managers, business analysts, and team members to analyze business requirements and outline proposed solutions. Lead and mentor a team of Java and .NET developers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment. Provide technical leadership and guidance in Java-based development and architecture, ensuring adherence to best practices. Collaborate with cross- functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features and enhancements that meet business needs. Ensure seamless integration and functionality of API gateways and network components, optimizing performance and reliability. Coordinate with global teams to ensure alignment and effective communication across different time zones, driving project success. Drive continuous improvement in development processes and practices, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field of study plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or as Lead Software Engineer, Software Engineer/Developer, QA Analyst/Engineer, Data Engineer, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field of study plus seven (7) years of experience in the job offered or as Lead Software Engineer, Software Engineer/Developer, QA Analyst/Engineer, Data Engineer, or related occupation.
Skills Required: This position requires five (5) years of experience with the following: leading software development projects from vision to execution and analyzing performance of product vision and systems, including efficiency rationalization and enabling capabilities, to identify functional and non-functional gaps; designing technology-based solutions utilizing internal systems, web applications, and AWS Cloud Services; performing data analysis using programming languages including SQL, Java, and Python; validating solutions via proof-of-concept development using technologies including REST APIs, microservices, Docker, NodeJS, Spring, HTML, and Java; translating design into epics and user stories for delivery using Agile SDLC methodology; and creating services that are deployed as containerized REST APIs and meet unit testing requirements.

Full-Time. Salary: $226,000 - $260,000 per year.
