As a Affluent Thought Leadership Events Manager Senior Associate within the Wealth Management business you will support event execution for the J.P. Morgan Wealth Management business – specifically our mass affluent audience. In the role you will focus on understanding overall Wealth Management goals and objectives, and you will develop event marketing tactics to lead consideration for JPMorgan. In addition you will focus on event execution, managing event logistics (operational/tactical). In this role, you will report into and partner closely with Mass Affluent events manager along with the retail bank and regional sales leadership to ensure we are meeting the needs of client and prospects to JPMorgan Wealth Management.
Job responsibilities:
- Serve as a strategic partner to field regional leadership team to discuss create an events roadmap that achieves opportunity to deepen and retain client relationships
- Develop, focus and communicate the event strategy for your assigned region in partnership with an event planner who will run on executional needs
- Work with content partners to curate topics and experiences tailored to business objectives and audience needs.
- Own field communications, including invitations and follow-up messaging.
- Work closely with your event planner to ensure they are executing and planning to meet the goals of the program
- Focus on post-event follow-up to record outcomes and collect data for analytics/business case development; analyze event data and feedback to inform future strategy and demonstrate ROI.
- Develop annual event calendars and strategic roadmaps for the region.
- Manage stakeholder relationships and ensure alignment with broader business
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- 4+ years in event strategy/marketing
- Team player who works collaboratively
- Ability to juggle competing priorities and needs to make decisions
- Analytically driven to strategize event plans against data and outcomes
- Stays on top of event industry trends to serve as a subject matter expert to field leadership
- Word/PPT/Excel
