DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Develop and execute SRE, Stability and modernization strategies/roadmaps for complex applications. Translate requirements into software insights that can be leveraged by operational users. Build and maintain custom built architecture. Build and maintain bespoke workflow scheduling tools and related enterprise architecture. Build enterprise applications. Design and develop full stack components to complement legacy architecture. Design and build cross functional software to support both internal and vendor integration. Develop and automate large-scale, high-performance workflows. Drive deliverables from start to finish and provide guidance and mentorship to other developers.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (any), Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field of study plus seven (7) years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, IT Project Manager, IT Consultant, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Master's degree in Engineering (any), Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field of study plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, IT Project Manager, IT Consultant, or related occupation.

Skills Required: This position requires five (5) years of experience with the following: Developing code in C#, .Net Framework and MVC Framework; Developing .Net Core enterprise applications hosted across a hybrid infrastructure of Linux, Windows OS, and cloud including AWS and Azure; Designing and deploying web services architecture, REST, SOAP, and microservices in a hybrid on-premises and cloud environment using Docker and Kubernetes; Working with CI/CD principles and related tool stacks including Jenkins, Terraform, Python, Spinnaker, AWS CodeDeploy, Snyk Code, SonarQube, Jira, Confluence, Nautilus Labs and Sauce Labs testing tools, BlazeMeter, TestSight, SeaLights, and JMeter; Designing, developing, and testing front-end user applications using UI full-stack tools including JavaScript, HTML, Typescript, XML, Angular, JSON, and Silverlight; Working with SQL and DB modeling, DB development and technology stacks including SQL Server BCP, SSIS, SSRS, DB Modeling, and Oracle; Working with ETL and integrating ETL workloads into a .NET enterprise stack using Pentaho; Coding, testing, and deploying applications in the Java and Linux tool stack; Designing and building applications with financial SRE requirements using tools including Geneos, Dynatrace, Control-M, and Micro Focus Reflection; Collaborating with business users and supporting user-defined tools including QlikView and Business Objects; Designing and implementing applications for integration into enterprise messaging platforms in a financial setting using MQ, RabbitMQ and Kafka; This position requires three (3) years of experience with the following: Deploying, supporting, and integrating in-house components with Advantage Fee suite Commercial software; Developing and supporting invoicing software and financial applications; On-premises and cloud scripting using Shell scripting, PowerShell scripting and Teradata; This position requires any amount of experience with the following: Traversing across Agile SDLC, Waterfall SDLC, and Hybrid SDLC in a scrum structure; Translating requirements by leveraging application architecture and data architecture disciplines; Using and deploying tools including Splunk, GIT, Cucumber, Junit, Automated Testing, Blackbox Testing, Functional Testing, Manual Testing, Performance Testing, Regression Testing, Smoke Testing, System Integration Testing, Unit Testing, White Box Testing, and User Acceptance Testing.
