The Brazil Subsidiary Banking team serves foreign multinational companies with a local presence in Brazil. We’re hiring an Associate (Junior Corporate Banker) to cover one of our clusters. In this role, you will manage your own client portfolio and act as second chair on more senior client relationships within the team. You will also selectively support the cluster by running key internal processes that enable origination and execution.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage a designated portfolio of multinational subsidiary clients operating in Brazil, with a focus on North America–headquartered companies across CRBS, Technology, Media, and Healthcare.
  • Partner as second chair on larger, strategic client relationships, supporting senior bankers on coverage and execution.
  • Advance credit requests through internal processes, including preparing materials, coordinating risk reviews, and tracking conditions to close.
  • Secure internal approvals for deal execution and coordinate cross-functional stakeholders across product, risk, legal, and operations.
  • Identify, qualify, and track revenue opportunities across cash management, trade finance, FX, liquidity, and broader treasury flows; maintain accurate pipeline and reporting.
  • Support disciplined client planning, call preparation, and follow-ups; contribute to pitch materials and solution proposals.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Experience managing corporate banking relationships with North America–headquartered multinationals operating in Brazil, ideally within CRBS, Technology, Media, or Healthcare sectors.
  • Familiarity with Latin America/Brazil market dynamics and the local regulatory and tax environment.
  • Working knowledge of cash management, trade finance, FX, liquidity, and broader treasury solutions.
  • Solid credit acumen and comfort advancing credit requests through internal risk and approval frameworks.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and project management skills; ability to navigate complex internal processes.
  • Professional proficiency in Portuguese and English.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Spanish is a plus
