JPMorgan Chase is seeking an experienced professional to lead Morgan Health’s policy efforts, initially focused on the federal level but also to include state and local advocacy.

As an Executive Director within Morgan Health, you will drive engagement with policy makers, trade associations, and other stakeholders to advance Morgan Health’s and JPMC’s shared priorities, with a focus on health care policy issues impacting employer-sponsored insurance, especially for small businesses. You will also interface with outside consultants and lead efforts to build credibility, consensus, and innovative solutions among key stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead the execution of Morgan Health’s policy strategy, working closely with Morgan Health leadership and other internal stakeholders to build consensus to align with near-term and long-term business objectives.
  • Track legislative and regulatory developments affecting employer-sponsored insurance, with a particular emphasis on small business impacts, and identify opportunities for Morgan Health / JPMC to engage with data driven insights.
  • Identify opportunities to build credibility and consensus on health policy issues among key stakeholders, including policymakers, industry leaders, and advocacy organizations.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Morgan Health leadership, JPMC GR team legal, compliance, and communications teams, to ensure policy positions and messaging are consistent and aligned with JPMC’s broader objectives.
  • Support cross-functional initiatives and contribute to broader JPMC policy priorities as needed.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in corporate policy, government relations, public affairs, or related roles, with a strong track record of success
  • Broad familiarity with health care policy issues, especially those impacting employer-sponsored insurance and small businesses.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute effective advocacy strategies in complex policy environments.
  • Experience interfacing with outside consultants and managing external partnerships.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing policy briefs and presenting to senior executives.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Advanced degree a plus
  • Prior involvement in policy development or advocacy related to employer-sponsored insurance, health care reform, or small business health benefits.
  • Strong network of relationships with federal policymakers, agencies, and industry groups.
  • Familiarity with JPMorgan Chase’s business and values is a plus.
