As a Trade Support Analyst within the Asia Commodities Physical Operations team, you will deliver outstanding client experience and strong risk control across the transaction lifecycle. You will work closely with sales, trading, vendors, and other partners to ensure seamless business flows, supporting growth through process improvements and the use of intelligent automation tools to drive efficiency and competitive advantage.
Job responsibilities
- Provide operational and logistical support for physical commodities sales and trading desks.
- Ensure all controls are diligently performed, completed, and signed off on a timely basis.
- Collaborate with Front office, Operations, Credit, Compliance, Legal, and Technology to resolve client queries and issues promptly.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including financial institutions, clients, vendors, and operations teams globally.
- Identify and deliver process improvements to increase efficiency, enhance control, and reduce manual touchpoints.
- Communicate clearly and concisely with support teams and external stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of queries.

Participate in and contribute to strategic initiatives and change programs.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Minimum 1 year of experience in trade/sales support, middle office, or settlements within Financial Services.
- Strong focus on controls, attention to detail, and sense of ownership.
- Ability to develop strong relationships with clients and internal business partners.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Meticulous, independent, and self‑motivated with good analytical skills.
- Positive attitude to change and a desire to do things better and more efficiently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Bachelors Degree.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
Experience in the banking industry or a trading house preferred.
Knowledge of commodities products is an advantage but not essential.
Prior knowledge or experience with intelligent automation tools (e.g., Alteryx, UiPath) is an advantage.
