Join our Payments Operation team in Hong Kong, where you’ll work at the intersection of business, operations, and technology to tackle complex challenges, streamline processes, drive incident readiness, and strengthen the firm’s operational resilience.
As a Cash Operations Analyst within the Payments business, you will support end-to-end payment operations, incident response, and resiliency initiatives. You will simplify work processes, reduce operational costs through automation, and ensure strong controls and regulatory compliance. You will analyze payment and incident data to inform decisions and prepare materials for management review. You will also partner across cross-functional teams to ensure exercises, drills, and documentation are audit-ready.
Job responsibilities
- Participate in change and project management for bank and industry driven initiatives, representing operations end to end
- Serve as Incident Manager on Duty to detect, escalate, contain, recover, and close incidents while managing tight communications with stakeholders
- Support regional and local regulatory resiliency exercises and maintain audit-ready documentation
- Maintain strong risk and control practices by adhering to corporate policies and regulatory requirements for cash operations
- Identify and drive process simplification and automation to improve efficiency and reduce operating costs
- Support daily handling of account breaks and resolve complex issues and transactions
- Review and maintain standard operating procedures for cash operations on a regular cadence
- Analyze payment data and resiliency scorecards, create dashboards and communicate insights for management review for APAC
- Prepare presentations for cash operations and regional resilience; partner on tabletop exercises, failover and disaster recovery drills, scenario simulations, and ensuring remediation follow-through
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or business administration
- Minimum 2 years of experience in bank operations or project management
- Think like an owner, analytical problem solver and is able to spot issues early, escalates promptly, evaluates risk implications, and implements practical control fixes
- Strong risk and control focus with meticulous attention to detail
- Curious and fast learner on new technologies automation tools, and evolving processes
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with regional, cross-functional teams
- Professional, team-first mindset with a strong client focus; proactive, self-directed, and composed under pressure
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

- Knowledge of local clearing, payments, deposits, liquidity, and cash management
