Agility Senior Associate - Risk Tech

As an Agility Senior Associate in the Corporate Technology - Consumer and Community Banking- Risk Tech team, you will be a servant leader, coach, and strategic partner who drives the adoption and scaling of Agile and Lean practices across a large Risk Product portfolio. You will enable and coach agile teams in partnership with other Agility Leads, Product Owners, and engineering leads, accelerating delivery of high‑quality risk outcomes and maturing product management practices. You will partner closely with the Product Portfolio Office and senior leaders (Executive Leaders, VPs, Directors) to set and achieve Agile and product education goals while cultivating an inclusive, learning culture that values diversity, curiosity, and continuous improvement.
Job responsibilities
- Facilitate the adoption and adaptation of agile methodologies within teams and provide guidance, training, and support to propel continuous improvement and high performance
- Create an environment of collaboration within the teams that allows for open dialogue and productive solutions for resolving conflicts
- Enable agile project delivery by facilitating the prioritization of tasks and managing resources to effectively address complex situations to achieve project goals
- Analyze and interpret policies, identify key barriers, and apply your critical thinking skills to address challenges within the product development lifecycle
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 5+ years in Agile product development or delivery, with hands‑on coaching and facilitation across multiple teams in complex technology environments
- Expertise in Agile and Scrum with practical application in product organizations and fluency with Kanban and Lean practices
- Working knowledge of scaling approaches (e.g., LeSS) and experience coordinating outcomes across many teams and shared platforms
- Demonstrated ability to coach and influence at all levels (i.e., engineers to executives) and strong executive presence and concise storytelling with data
- Proven backlog management and flow optimization skills in story mapping, slicing, empirical planning, and outcome‑based road mapping
- Strong facilitation, coaching, conflict resolution, and mediation skills that build high‑performing, psychologically safe teams
- Ability to anticipate and remove organizational impediments in navigating and leveraging capabilities across the firm to solve local problems
- Practical understanding of risk and control concepts relevant to technology delivery with disciplined escalation and follow‑through
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience in consumer banking risk domains (e.g., credit risk decisioning, fraud, collections, disputes, operational/technology risk) within product delivery contexts
- Familiarity with portfolio governance and value management (OKRs, KPIs, productivity/flow metrics, capacity planning)
- Certifications in Agile/Lean (e.g., Scrum Master, Product Owner, Kanban, Lean/Kaizen) and/or process improvement (e.g., Lean Six Sigma)
- Experience coaching large groups, facilitating training/bootcamps, and setting product education goals in partnership with Agility/Portfolio Offices
- Exposure to control automation, observability/monitoring, and evidence management practices that streamline risk readiness for releases
- Ability to synthesize complex information into concise leadership materials and strong data analysis skills for trend and health reporting
