Join a dynamic global team that partners with Corporate Secretaries to manage board and committee meetings. The Legal Department is crucial in meeting regulatory obligations worldwide and is organized into Practice Groups led by General Counsel. The Legal Entity Management Desk (LEMD) collaborates with the Office of the Secretary to enhance governance across global operations, supporting board and committee meetings through regional hubs.
Job Summary
As a member of the LEMD team, you will be responsible to support CGCs across various regions by preparing, compiling, and circulating board papers; attending meetings; coordinating director/presenter attendance; managing audit requests; and maintaining corporate records.
Job Responsibilities

Support the Corporate Secretary / Corporate Governance Contact with board/committee meetings including, but not limited to:
Scheduling board/committee/committee meetings
Consolidation and distribution of board/committee materials to stakeholders
Complete post board/committee meeting activities
Maintain online corporate records in proper order
Keep internal databases updated
Support compliance with internal corporate governance policies and procedures
Provide support on corporate governance projects and initiatives from time to time
Support audit and other research related requests from the Corporate Secretary / Corporate Governance Contact
Work closely with the Global Filings team to complete statutory filings
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Qualified Company Secretary with at least 2 years related experience in corporate secretarial / corporate governance position or law firm
Sound knowledge of corporate / company laws
Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Highly detail oriented, results driven with ability to prioritize, multi task and meet deadlines
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and within tight deadlines
Proactive with ability to identify issues requiring escalation or special attention
Strong interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Law degree not required but a plus
- Advanced computer skills (i.e. MS Office Suite)
- Ability to collaborate and deal with stakeholders at different levels and to work across different time zones and cultures
