Job Summary:
As a Senior Data Owner Associate in the data management team within the Asset and Wealth Management team, you deliver actionable analytics insights to solve business problems and foster an analytics culture. You help define the ecosystem and capability set for the transformation journey. You gain broad exposure and visibility to senior leadership across the global Asset and Wealth Management organization.
Job responsibilities
Co-coordinate with tech and business to obtain requirement for build
Provide clear requirement for data model, with apt attribute name and definitions as per the standard.
Initiate and lead working group with technology and business to develop success criteria for the product delivery and maintain cadence of meeting to track progress.
Perform in-depth analysis and build data transformation documents to ease adoption of data from legacy to strategic.
Develop operating models to support required level of controls in the end-to-end data flow
Recommend and implement required tools to maintain high level of transparency through reporting
Document and track project reporting metrics and scorecards
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Minimum of 15 years of industry experience with least 7 yrs in a financial services organization, with data project management experience e.g. business analysis and Data/system migration projects
Deep knowledge of data domains (Including Securities, Party & Product data needed by an asset & wealth management organization.
Strong Knowledge of best practices for Business Requirements Documents (BRD’s)
Proven ability to translate requirements into data modelling, adhering to firm-wide architectural standards, such as logical to physical data modelling
Thorough understanding of the financial services industry and businesses e.g., buy side/Sell side as well as related operations and technology functions
Background in data management practices, business and technology issues related to management of enterprise information assets and data quality framework
- Strong understanding of data management principles and practices.
- Proficiency in data management tools, databases, and data quality tools. with ability to analyze data and identify patterns, trends, and anomalies.
- Strong communication skills to articulate data policies and practices to stakeholders, with high level of attention to detail to ensure data accuracy and quality.
Ability to break down complex problems and projects into manageable pieces and ability to get to the root cause of the problem and recommend resolution alternatives

Experienced in creating presentations for senior management and highly skilled in productivity tools e.g. Lucid, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Awareness of data domain aspects across industry
Strong problem-solving skills to address data-related issues effectively.
