As a Fund Servicing Associate I within JPMorganChase, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our operational services related to fund accounting and administration. Job responsibilities
- Execute routine transactions related to fund servicing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with operations and financial controllers to streamline processes and enhance efficiency in fund servicing operations.
- Foster a collaborative environment by leveraging emotional intelligence skills to build trusting relationships with peers, managers, and stakeholders.
- Propose and implement improvements to current working methods, contributing to the efficiency and resilience of our operating platform.
- Utilize and maintenance of Business tools like Alteryx, iRecs, Groupings, Bisky, etc. The role expects the employee to have hands on experience & applying automation through these tools and deploy the code in UAT.
- Understand historical data & provide in depth analysis and recommendations to eliminate/reduce manual matches/bookings
- Partner with Operations on BRD / User stories
- Data Analyst gathers and analyses information from a variety of sources (SMEs, documentation, and technical) to create business process models within the process modelling methodology framework.
- Collaborate with business subject matter experts to understand and document business processes
- In addition, the Data Analyst may be expected to facilitate workshops, fact-finding interviews, project management activities, and other necessary activities to gather and synthesize information into their process models.
Fund Servicing Operations Expertise At least three years of demonstrated experience in fund accounting and administration, with a proven track record of successfully executing related tasks and responsibilities in fund servicing operations.
Process Improvement and Re-engineering Proven ability to propose and implement process improvements that enhance operational efficiency and resilience, with participation in process re-engineering efforts for at least one medium-to-large IT-related project.
Technical Tools Proficiency Working knowledge of analytical and operational tools such as Alteryx, Tableau, iRecs, and other relevant platforms used in fund servicing and data analytics environments.
Client Relationship and Communication Skills Demonstrated ability to apply active listening and questioning techniques to effectively understand and address client needs, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
Business Analysis and Strategic Thinking Strong business acumen with a broad, enterprise-wide view of strategy, processes, capabilities, enabling technologies, and governance. Proven track record of providing innovative solutions that increase business performance.
Cross-functional Collaboration and Requirements Gathering Experience working within cross-functional project teams to understand business requirements, deliver process artifacts, and translate business needs into actionable solutions.
Process Documentation and Modeling Ability to assimilate and correlate disconnected business documentation and drawings, articulate their collective relevance to organizational priorities, and apply hierarchical and sequential process modeling concepts and techniques effectively.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Securities and Derivatives Knowledge Strong understanding of all security types including bonds, equities, commodities, and indices, along with their accounting treatment. Experience or working knowledge of OTC derivatives is essential, with derivative experience being highly desirable.
