As a Fund Services Associate I in our dynamic team, you become an integral part of our operations. Manage trade capture, validation, and review of trades recorded in accounting books to ensure correct valuation of mutual fund clients within JP Morgan Fund Services. Take direct responsibility for production, review, and delivery of activities related to regulatory requirements and client reporting. Serve as Domain Expert and escalation point for the team, ensuring timely and appropriate escalation of actual or potential delays and issues to Supervisors and Management.
Job responsibilities
- Oversee accurate and timely completion of all trade capture and reconciliation delivery per SLA requirements
Serve as overall Domain Expert for the team, providing guidance on all queries and questions
Apply strong process knowledge to perform and oversee review activities
Represent the team at various internal and external forums
Provide leadership and ownership for all escalations, audits, and client due diligences
Develop and implement efficient and standardized workflows within the team with effective controls at various handoff points
Establish policies, procedures, and guidelines that comply with internal and external controls to strengthen the control environment
Assess training needs for the team to ensure effective cross-training as reported through Skills Metrics
Ensure stakeholder management with onshore and governance teams through effective service delivery and proactive approach toward client requirements
Own all process-related documentation including SLAs and Standard Operating Procedures, ensuring timely updates and sign-off cycles
8+ years of experience in Fund Services Trades or demonstrated understanding of financial markets
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Demonstrate strong attention to detail in document review and analytical review capabilities related to Fund Accounting trade details and reporting
Possess good knowledge and understanding of Mutual Funds and NAV
Exhibit ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines during peak delivery times
Implement change, seek efficiencies, and manage initiatives alongside daily workload
Apply excellent understanding of Capital Markets and related terminologies
Utilize strong analytical capabilities and advanced MS Office skills
Think critically and challenge the status quo
Manage conflicting priorities with strong time management skills
