Product Delivery Manager - Payments - Vice President

- Leads end-to-end product delivery processes including intake, dependency management, release management, product operationalization, delivery feasibility decision-making, and product performance reporting, while escalating opportunities to improve efficiencies and functional coordination
- Leads the completion of change management activities across functional partners and ensures adherence to the firm’s risk, controls, compliance, and regulatory requirements
- Effectively manages timelines and dependencies while monitoring blockers, ensuring adequate resourcing, and liaising with stakeholders and functional partners
- Design and deploy advanced statistical models, machine learning, and GenAI solutions to tackle payments, sales, risk, and operations challenges—translating insights into business outcomes.
- Build and enhance BI tools, dashboards, and pipelines using Snowflake, Python, SQL, Tableau, and related technologies to enable real‑time decisioning and proactive risk detection.
- Convert complex findings into clear, actionable recommendations for executives and cross‑functional stakeholders. Stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies to drive payments innovation and best‑in‑class analytics practices.
- Advise and coach product owners on control frameworks, risk identification, and preventive monitoring throughout the product lifecycle.
- Oversee Action Plans (APs), audits, and change initiatives; ensure timely remediation, durable fixes, and evidence of control effectiveness. Triage broken processes, lead root‑cause analysis, and assume ownership of APs where needed to drive closure and sustainability. Execute monitoring controls, track and escalate risk issues, and ensure alignment with firmwide policies and standards.
- Collaborate with Business Control Managers, Legal, Product, and Finance to resolve risk‑related issues and embed controls that scale. Partner with data scientists, analysts, engineers, and product teams to deliver risk/benefit analytics for product support.
- Serve as a strategic advisor who influences business direction, balancing delivery velocity with strong risk management. Represent analytics and controls in senior forums; advocate for data‑driven transformation and disciplined execution.
- Foster a collaborative, inclusive, high‑performance culture; lead large, cross‑functional initiatives from concept to adoption.
- 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product delivery or a relevant domain area
- Demonstrated ability to execute operational management and change readiness activities
- Strong understanding of delivery and a proven track record of implementing continuous improvement processes
- Experience in product or platform-wide release management, in addition to deployment processes and strategies
- Demonstrated expertise in SQL, Python, Snowflake, Tableau, Alteryx or other advanced analytics methods; familiarity with big‑data tools (Hive, Hadoop, Spark) and distributed computing.
- Deep understanding of product development lifecycle, quality assurance, and data integrity.
- Proven track record delivering leading large, high‑impact projects from concept to implementation.
- Advanced knowledge of risk management, controls, and compliance in payments.
- Exceptional communication, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills; ability to influence executives and drive alignment across functions.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity, debate, and competing priorities; proactive, independent problem solver who creates practical, durable solutions.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio, and SharePoint.
- Bachelor’s or master’s in information sciences, risk management analytics, computer science, or a related business or quantitative field; advanced degree (M.S. or Ph.D.) advantageous.
