JPMorganChase
Buenos Aires is one of JPMorganChase’s key strategic hubs with over 3,500 employees across Operations, Technology, Finance, Risk, Human Resources, Legal and more, providing value-added services, products, and solutions to clients around the world.
JPMorganChase’s Collateral Services is an agency platform supporting the safekeeping, margin management, and optimization of collateral for the securities financing market. Collateral requirements arise from transactions including securities lending, repurchase agreements, secured funding, and margin for derivatives. These functions are high‑risk, time‑sensitive, and client‑facing, requiring operational judgment under pressure, strategic leadership, and disciplined risk management to support high‑profile clients. While the role primarily focuses on Americas clients, our follow‑the‑sun model may involve collaboration with EMEA and APAC.
In this role you will be facing different challenges such as:
- Applying out‑of‑the‑box problem solving to resolve daily queries from multiple stakeholders across the business, including internal and external clients.
- Performing daily analytical activities that apply your knowledge, decision‑making, and independent thinking to resolve complex operational issues.
- Building strong partnerships with colleagues across regions to drive consistency and efficiency in a follow‑the‑sun environment.
- Integrating into the local management team to shape the team’s future and regional strategic initiatives.
And these are some of the activities you will be responsible for:
- Provide comprehensive oversight of day‑to‑day functions supporting Collateral Services products, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Understand current‑state process flows and system linkages; identify and deliver process improvements and efficiencies.
- Partner and foster a one‑team approach with Operations, Technology, Product and Client Service to execute strategic initiatives and deliver client outcomes.
- Ensure timelines and client service standards are consistently achieved with a strong client orientation.
- Maintain a robust risk and control framework: prepare for audits, ensure controls are performed and signed off on time, mitigate issues, and escalate with clear remediation plans.
- Serve as the escalation point for internal and external client queries, ensuring concise communication and timely resolution.
- Report highlights, risks, and action plans to senior management.
- Suggest team strategies for capacity and staff planning aligned with volumes, seasonality, and transformation pipelines.
- Recruit, develop, and manage managers and their teams; set goals, conduct performance management, and support career growth.
- Contribute to regional strategic initiatives to foster local growth and expand our footprint.
What do we ask for this position?
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, pressurized, and evolving environment with demanding timelines and deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail and client orientation.
- Solid sense of accountability and ownership of issues through to resolution.

- Advanced English and clear communication skills, with the ability to collaborate, influence, explain, and challenge appropriately.
