As a Trading Services Associate in the Margin Services Operations team, you will support clients in managing margin obligations and monitoring exposures.
You will collaborate with partner teams to resolve exceptions, maintain effective controls, and drive process improvements.
You will contribute to onboarding and service delivery while helping the team meet key operational and risk outcomes.

Job responsibilities:

  • Maintain and review risk and control checks to support compliance with operational standards.
  • Investigate and resolve margin and collateral exceptions within defined timeframes.
  • Escalate issues and coordinate resolution with management and partner teams.
  • Identify root causes and implement process improvements to reduce operational risk and potential loss.
  • Document, update, and improve procedures, workflows, and controls.
  • Prepare and deliver reporting on key performance indicators and management information.
  • Support onboarding activities by coordinating operational readiness and service setup.
  • Respond to ad hoc client inquiries with clear, timely communication and follow-through.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in securities lending, settlements, trade support, or middle office operations.
  • Strong understanding of global financial markets and operational processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to build working relationships across teams.
  • Demonstrated ownership and accountability, with the ability to perform under pressure and manage priorities.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Experience using data visualization or automation tools such as Tableau, Alteryx, or Python.
  • Experience driving process improvement and strengthening operational controls.
  • Experience producing workflow documentation and recurring operational reporting.
  • Familiarity with investment instruments and valuation considerations across markets.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
