DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. Carry out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm's business objectives. Execute software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting to build solutions or break down technical problems. Create secure high-quality production code and maintain algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems. Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications for ensuring design constraints are met by software code development. Gather, analyze, synthesize, and develop visualizations and reporting from large, diverse data sets in service of continuous improvement of software applications and systems. Identify hidden problems and patterns in data and use these insights to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architecture. Contribute to software engineering communities of practice and events that explore new and emerging technologies. Oversee ongoing deliverables and work with Product for the new requirements. Oversee the junior developers and uplift the team skill. Work with Risk team to identify the applications security and risk assessments. Design Interactive Voice Response (IVR) call flows and provide solutions for the complex requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or related field of study plus 5 years (60 months) of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Module Lead, Programmer Analyst, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Master's degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or related field of study plus 3 years (36 months) of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Module Lead, Programmer Analyst, or related occupation.
Skills Required: This position requires experience with the following: utilizing Contact center skills using Voice XML (VXML), Automated Speech Recognition (ASR), Text to Speech (TTS), and Genesys voice platform (GVP) to design, build, and support voice applications; utilizing SDLC including system design, application development, testing, and operational stability; coding in Java and Python for designing, building, and supporting voice applications; developing debugging database querying languages including Oracle and SQL; utilizing the Software Development Life Cycle to gather requirements, design, develop, and deploy voice applications; using Agile methodologies including CI/CD, Applicant Resiliency, and Security to gather requirements to design, build, and support voice applications; utilizing software applications and technical processes with cloud; utilizing Core Java, Microservices, Apache Tomcat, Java Persistence API (JPA), Model View Controller (MVC) architecture, Java Messaging Service (JMS), Agile and web services development using SOAP, REST, and Spring Boot to build voice applications for IVR; utilizing Amazon Web Services (AWS), Terraform, and Kubernetes to build voice applications for IVR; and using Site Reliability Engineering tools including Splunk, Dynatrace, and Grafana monitoring tools to support voice applications.
Job Location: 880 Powder Mill Rd, Wilmington, DE 19803. Telecommuting permitted up to 40% of the week.
