As a Vice President, Treasury Analytics & Technology in the APAC Treasury team, you will drive the development and delivery of innovative analytics and automation solutions that support our balance sheet and liquidity management. You will work closely with global partners, leveraging technology to enhance our processes and provide actionable insights. Job responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy automated dashboards, analytical tools, and reporting solutions for balance sheet monitoring, liquidity metrics, and scenario analysis
  • Lead automation initiatives to streamline workflows and enhance productivity across treasury processes
  • Build and maintain data pipelines and APIs, ensuring data integrity, controls, and reconciliation
  • Author business and functional requirements documents, process maps, and acceptance criteria; translate into user stories and test cases
  • Partner with technology teams to deliver strategic projects and implement target-state solutions
  • Drive adoption of AI tools and coding standards to automate manual tasks and improve efficiency
  • Mentor junior team members on best practices in coding, automation, and analytics
  • Prepare and present clear updates, reports, and actionable insights to senior management and stakeholders
  • Collaborate across functions and jurisdictions to deliver impactful solutions
  • Champion reuse and common libraries to promote efficiency and consistency
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or a quantitative field
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in a technical or IT role within banking or financial services
  • Advanced proficiency in Python, SQL, and VBA, with the ability to build automated dashboards and reporting solutions
  • Strong experience in BI tools for dashboarding; ability to design data models optimized for analytics
  • Proven experience drafting BRDs/FRDs, defining business use cases, data contracts, and user stories; strong process design and documentation skills
  • Data quality and controls mindset: reconciliation frameworks, lineage, access controls, monitoring, and alerting
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams and present to senior management
  • Strong project management skills to lead multiple initiatives and influence cross-functional stakeholders

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Familiarity with cloud-based platforms such as Databricks or Snowflake
  • Proficiency in Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, or similar analytics tools
  • Working knowledge of treasury concepts including funds transfer pricing, liquidity premium, stress testing, and asset and liability management
  • Understanding of liquidity regulations (LCR, NSFR) and APAC legal entity management
  • Experience supporting treasury or similar functions within a global banking environment
  • Advanced degree such as MSc in Computer Science, Financial Engineering, or related field
  • Track record of leading strategic transformation initiatives, including system implementations, automation, or regulatory change programs
