Job Summary

As a Payments – Treasury Services Market and Product Expansion – Senior Associate within the CEEMEA team, you will play a crucial role in implementing our product strategy and capability development in the United Arab Emirates and across the Middle East region. You will be responsible for the seamless rollout of payment services, working closely with regulators, functional product managers, sales, operations, technology, risk, compliance, and legal teams. This role offers you the chance to drive strategic initiatives, launch innovative treasury solutions, and expand our market footprint whilst developing your expertise across the full spectrum of treasury services products. You will be instrumental in delivering J.P. Morgan's vision for payments excellence in the region.

Job Responsibilities

  • Implement payments product strategy in the UAE, ensuring timely delivery of new treasury services propositions
  • Deliver on country expansion project objectives, focusing on treasury services and corporate banking products including Accounts, Payables & Receivables, Liquidity, Client channels, and Corporate Cards
  • Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Technology, Implementations, and cross-functional teams to identify, develop, and launch products
  • Manage project risks and escalate issues appropriately to ensure successful delivery
  • Monitor the development of product features, tracking deployment costs, revenue projections, and adherence to timelines
  • Develop commercialization and communication plans for new solutions to expand market footprint and drive revenue growth
  • Represent J.P. Morgan at local industry meetings and forums, enhancing our market presence
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with regulators and external stakeholders
  • Provide guidance on building current account capabilities and payment systems
  • Track project progress and ensure alignment with strategic objectives

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Demonstrated experience in deploying IT or regulatory projects within financial institutions
  • Proven ability to write, collate, and build comprehensive business requirements
  • Strong understanding of treasury services and corporate banking products, including Accounts, Payables & Receivables, Liquidity, Client channels, and Corporate Cards
  • Excellent project tracking capabilities with proven risk mitigation skills
  • Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Strong attention to detail with a continuous improvement mindset
  • Capability to build partnerships quickly and establish credibility with technology, risk, and functional partners
  • Commercially minded approach with creative problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Intellectually curious with ability to develop innovative and differentiated solutions

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Experience working in the UAE or Middle East financial services market
  • Knowledge of local regulatory requirements and payment systems infrastructure
  • Background in treasury services product management or implementation
  • Experience representing organizations at industry forums and regulatory meetings
  • Familiarity with payment system modernization initiatives
  • Understanding of digital banking channels and client experience design
  • Track record of successfully launching new products in emerging markets
