As a Loan Servicing Supervisor within the Lending Services team, you will work directly with staff and internal business partners to continuously improve processes and drive exceptional performance. You will develop, document, and execute procedures while ensuring adherence. You will oversee general ledger activities for accuracy and conduct quality assessments and audits on money movement transactions. You will own complex projects, resolve escalations, and investigate root causes of process inefficiencies. As a leader, you will mentor and coach the team to deliver business objectives.
Job Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of escalation for client and process issues.
- Lead, coach, and support direct reports using performance metrics and regular feedback.
- Foster a collaborative team environment that encourages feedback and shared accountability.
- Oversee general ledger balancing activities and research discrepancies as needed.
- Perform internal quality checks and approve peer work to support accuracy and reduce errors.
- Conduct quality assessments and audits on money movement transactions to support strong controls.
- Develop, document, implement, and maintain procedures and ensure adherence.
- Own complex projects, investigate root causes, and implement process improvements.
- Prepare and deliver clear written and verbal communications for stakeholders and broader audiences.
- Track and report servicing adjustments to support accurate billing.
- Provide prompt, courteous customer service to internal and external clients.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Three years of experience in loan servicing, banking operations, or a related financial operations role.
- One year of people leadership experience (direct or matrix).
- Experience reviewing, reconciling, or supporting general ledger processes.
- Experience performing quality control reviews and documenting findings and corrective actions.
- Experience supporting transaction processing with strong accuracy and control requirements.
- Ability to write and maintain clear procedures or operational documentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presenting to stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, including research and root-cause analysis.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Experience with money movement processing, approvals, or investigations.
- Experience supporting auto-related servicing adjustments and billing processes.
- Experience managing service agreements and familiarity with legal documents.
- Prior experience with auto servicing, revolving credit lines, and/or account management.
- Experience developing reporting structures to support operational performance.
