As a Corporate & Investment Bank Treasury Banking – Associate in our CIB Treasury APAC team, you will spend each day supporting APAC Banking coverage and delivering initiatives across balance sheet analysis, liquidity and funds transfer pricing methodologies, and regional automation. You will operate with a high degree of independence while partnering closely with Business, Corporate Treasury, and Liquidity Risk Management to improve liquidity and interest rate risk management capabilities, strengthen governance of liquidity risk metrics, and support NII outcomes across APAC legal entities.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide analytical support and strategic guidance to the Corporate & Investment Bank Treasury APAC Banking lead.
- Monitor and manage funding and liquidity impacts from Banking activities (e.g., lending commitments, deposit flows, credit facilities) and liaise with Corporate Treasury and Payments to optimize funding.
- Lead initiatives to address legal entity capital, liquidity, and funding issues; conduct return/profitability analysis and allocate corresponding costs to operating businesses.
- Drive deposit modelling initiatives and analyze deposit behavioral assumptions for liquidity and interest rate risk purposes.
- Conduct IRRBB analysis and support interest rate risk management for the Banking book.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of global and local regulations related to balance sheet and Treasury management.
- Perform due diligence and review new business initiatives and products from a Treasury and balance sheet optimization perspective.
- Contribute to regional automation efforts, including dashboard creation, balance sheet and liquidity metrics, stress/what-if scenarios, glide paths, and NII forecasting.
- Author BRDs/FRDs, process maps, and acceptance criteria; translate requirements into user stories with test cases.
- Automate existing manual work around FTP and partner with technology teams to implement solutions.
- Mentor and guide junior team members on Treasury concepts and analytical frameworks.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

Minimum Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance or Business
- Working knowledge on IRRBB, Deposit Modeling, stress testing concepts and regulatory expectations
- Ability to analyze the liquidity and balance sheet impacts of Banking products, especially Corporate Lending, Trade Finance, Cash Management, and Deposit products
- Ability to review new business initiatives from Treasury's perspective and articulate balance sheet implications
- Proficient knowledge and understanding of key Treasury concepts including funds transfer pricing, liquidity premium, and asset and liability management
- Proven experience drafting BRDs/FRDs, defining business use cases, data contracts, and user stories; strong process design and documentation skills.
- Data quality/controls mindset: reconciliation frameworks, lineage, access controls, monitoring and alerting.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform complex and quantitative analyses
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- 3+ years of experience in a Bank with working knowledge of Treasury, ALM, Liquidity Risk Management, exposure in Tech implementation is a plus
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with ability to present to senior management
