Job Description

Our Compliance, Conduct and Operational Risk (“CCOR”) organization is at the forefront of managing risk in a complex and changing regulatory environment. Joining our department, you’ll help to safeguard the firm’s business by developing solutions that balance risk and regulatory requirements with the firm’s business needs.

The Corporate Functions CCOR support team is responsible for the monitoring & tracking, reporting, data analysis and risk assessment partnering activities of the CCOR program for various Corporate Functions. The Corporate Functions group is comprised of over 10 unique groups with a wide and diverse range of activities (e.g., Finance, Human Resources, Legal, Control Management).

Working together with stakeholders across the Corporate Functions, and partnering with Legal, Control Management, Chief administrative office, Finance, Corporate Responsibility and other groups across the CCOR organization we partner with each Function on their applicable Compliance and Operational risks and related policies, perform independent risk assessments, conduct deep dive reviews of processes and support the Functions in their development of appropriate controls to mitigate applicable Compliance risks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the APAC REM lead in developing and maintaining a clear, consistent framework for firmwide regulatory engagement.

  • Produce timely management information (MIS) reports using RACER data and distribute them to relevant stakeholders.

  • Assist in preparing timely reports, briefings, and analyses on regulatory engagements, outstanding issues, and emerging trends.

  • Leverage firmwide dashboards (APAC view) to proactively ensure timely RACER system updates while conducting regular quality control checks.

  • As necessary, provide responses and clarifications to business lines and corporate functions on regulatory matters and related communications.

  • Assist with ad hoc tasks, including coordinating and compiling information, and maintaining effective liaison with country compliance teams.

  • Participate in user acceptance testing, system enhancements, and automation initiatives related to RACER and the broader regulatory engagement function.

  • Manage the APAC section of Appendix 21 of the U.S. Resolution Plan, focusing on supervisory and regulatory information.

  • Clear, concise communicator with strong stakeholder management skills; able to translate regulatory/compliance requirements into actionable guidance for business partners.

  • Strong analytical skills: proficient in working with large datasets, synthesizing insights, and documenting recommendations and rationale.

  • Intellectually curious with a growth mindset; willing to challenge the status quo, improve processes, and continuously upskill as regulations and business models evolve.

  • Flexibility to work across APAC time zones as needed (e.g., early morning/evening calls) to support regional stakeholders and cross-location coordination.

Preferred qualifications

  • Prior experience in a regional or multi-jurisdictional role requiring regular engagement across APAC markets and time zones.

  • Hands-on experience using GenAI tools to improve compliance workflows (e.g., monitoring, reporting, QA), with strong attention to data handling, governance, and confidentiality.

  • Experience delivering workflow/automation solutions (e.g., Python, Alteryx, UiPath or similar) to enhance controls, surveillance/monitoring, reporting, or operational efficiency.

  • Technical foundation (e.g., SQL, Python, VBA) with ability to translate compliance requirements into prototypes, automated checks, or repeatable processes.
