As a Quant Analytics Manager within Small Business Decision Sciences team, you will be responsible for managing and supporting the Small Business Marketing campaign management lifecycle with targeting, sizing, financial business case, modeling, list execution support, reporting, test design and financial performance measurement (focusing on marketing product acquisition campaigns).
Job responsibilities
- Lead the analytical financial optimization of marketing programs throughout the marketing lifecycle; opportunity, targeting, testing, reporting and insights analytics
- Build strong relationships with our marketing clients, own the book of work and delivery approach, advise on strategies and experimentation to achieve business goals
- Leverage suite of evolving analytics tools, including Snowflake and evolving AI analytical applications
- Collaborate across marketing lifecycle support functions (modeling, finance, marketing channel and delivery teams)
- Advocate for specific data needed to monitor performance, targeting and execution, and other analytical support for business goals
- Maintain, improve, and assess processes and controls in support of business results
- Coach and lead junior team members in campaign analysis methods and approaches.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree with Mathematics, Finance, Statistics, Operations Research, or Economics with 8+ years of marketing data and analytics experience.
- Proficiency in data analysis languages such as SQL, Python, SAS, R, etc.
- Experience in Relationship databases and Big Data platforms and related technologies such as Snowflake
- Exceptional interpersonal and collaboration skills, ability to explain complicated mathematical concepts, algorithms, and data structures with an ability to influence both internal & external business partners
- Hands-on experience in delivering financial analytics and insights to multiple levels of management, including campaign test designs, estimation proformas and actual performance.
- Tangible experience with business marketing strategy and tactical lifecycle
- Strong analytics, interpretive and problem-solving skills
- Technical understanding of data extraction, transformation, and load processing
- Experience with dynamic and interactive self serve business intelligence such as Tableau
- Strong written and oral presentation / communication skills – the ability to convey complex information simply and clearly to senior business leaders
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Experience developing financial business cases
- Operational knowledge of consumer and community banking operations
- Familiarity with AWS technologies
- Master’s degree in a technical or quantitative field such as Mathematics, Finance, Statistics, Operations Research, or Economics
