You will help shape how we measure, learn, and optimize marketing for a new Consumer Bank deposit product—turning customer and campaign data into insights that influence strategy and marketing investment. You will work across the campaign lifecycle, from audience selection and test design to present value analysis and performance reporting, partnering closely with stakeholders and other analytics teams. As a Marketing Data Scientist Senior Associate within the Consumer Bank at JPMorganChase within the Consumer & Community Banking Data & Analytics organization, you will evaluate marketing campaign performance and deliver insights that inform targeting, testing, and optimization decisions. You will apply statistical and analytical methods to quantify both practical and statistical impact, communicate results clearly to stakeholders, and help drive continuous improvement across marketing measurement and strategy.
Job responsibilities
- Lead analytics strategy, planning, and execution for marketing initiatives supporting a new Consumer Bank deposit product
- Measure campaign performance on a recurring basis and develop clear, actionable performance reporting
- Conduct ad hoc analyses to understand and explain customer behavior and campaign outcomes
- Perform A/B test and incrementality test analyses, translating results into business recommendations
- Deliver profitability, present value, and optimization analyses to guide campaign investment decisions
- Consult on experimental design and data collection approaches in partnership with stakeholders and analytics teams
- Interpret findings and present insights to stakeholders and senior management in clear, concise language
- Participate in innovation initiatives to advance analytics capabilities and measurement approaches
- Collaborate with data professionals across teams while supporting an inclusive, high-performing environment
- Maintain a rigorous controls environment to ensure accurate, timely, and reliable outputs
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Data Science/Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Engineering, Economics, Finance, or related field)
- 3+ years of experience applying statistical methods to real-world problems
- 3+ years of experience using SQL and at least one analytical tool (Python or R)
- 3+ years of experience applying experimentation approaches (e.g., A/B testing, incrementality measurement) to evaluate impact
- Experience developing profitability, optimization, or present value analyses to inform business decisions
- Experience with data visualization and presenting analytical findings using visualization tools
- Experience using AI and/or machine learning models and/or large language model tools to support analysis and insight generation
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, with experience communicating effectively to partners and senior leaders
- Demonstrated ability to solve unstructured problems independently and deliver insights with clear recommendations
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Marketing analytics experience in consumer banking or financial services
- Experience using Python for analytics in production workflows or repeatable reporting pipelines
- Experience using Tableau for analysis and stakeholder-facing reporting
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including influencing through data and building cross-functional relationships
- Demonstrated ability to balance multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment
