Join Drive the Future program in Mexico if you are a student in your last 2 years of University. This is a part-time intern role in which you will receive several trainings & coaching to develop professional skills while experiencing our inclusive culture led by our principles: Service, Hearth, Curiosity, Courage and Excellence.

Our LATAM Financing Desk team is looking for a new Trading Trainee in Mexico City. In this role you will support VP traders across Mexico City, New York, and London while gaining hands-on experience in fixed income markets, repo transactions, and portfolio management.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and reconcile daily bookings; reconcile estimated vs. actual P&L
  • Create risk reports and estimate daily desk P&L
  • Build, maintain, and distribute bond inventory reports
  • Monitor portfolio cash positions
  • Support repo-style transaction lifecycle: re-rates, calls, coupon payments, margining, interest clean-ups
  • Generate monthly and quarterly desk performance reports
  • Support traders during meetings (note-taking, minutes distribution)
  • Conduct ad-hoc research on markets, portfolio, and transactions
  • Develop automated reporting tools using VBA/Python

Job Requirements:

  • Advanced English level

  • Part-time availability (30hs per week)

  • Availability to work in Ciudad de Mexico, Mexico

  • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Familiarity with Bloomberg Terminal, Tableau, or willingness to learn

  • Knowledge of Latin American markets and repo financing products.
