As a Principal Technical Program Manager at JPMorganChase within the Payments Technology team, you will own, develop, and maintain global standards that shape our technology ecosystem. You will serve as the primary interface between federated and central architecture organizations, ensuring alignment and operational excellence. Your role will drive modernization and continuous improvement, supporting the adoption of best practices and architectural discipline. You will collaborate with stakeholders across the firm to embed standards in products, services, and processes. Together, we will advance our Payments Technology objectives and deliver value to our clients.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Owns, develop, refine, and maintain Payments Technology standards for the global ecosystem, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure compliance and user feedback integration.
  • Acts as the primary interface between federated and central Payments architecture organizations, driving alignment and continuous improvement.
  • Leads federated architecture group priorities, ensuring effective structure, delivery pace, and impact.
  • Partners with technology, risk, and functional leaders to embed Payments Technology standards in all products, services, and processes.
  • Monitors, report, and maintain KPIs for Payments Technology Architecture performance, ensuring standards and discipline are upheld.
  • Drives education, awareness, and continuous improvement of Payments Technology standards and best practices across all regions.
  • Collaborates with other Governance and Portfolio Leads to ensure consistency, share best practices, and support firmwide objectives.
  • Drives the creation of architecture tooling and reporting to proactively support governance, risk management, and adoption of standards.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Demonstrates executive presence and the ability to influence and engage at all levels.
  • Communicates effectively and build constructive relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Builds strong partnerships across business, technology, and risk functions.
  • Understands the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and technology delivery processes.
  • Applies strong problem-solving abilities to identify and address issues, ensuring effective solutions.
  • Facilitates communication and coordination between key client groups and the Payments Technology ecosystem.
  • Organize and manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously for timely execution.
  • Adapt and operate effectively in ambiguous, complex, and uncertain environments.
  • Influence outcomes and drive change across the organization.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Experience in Payments Technology initiatives within a corporate environment, demonstrating familiarity with organizational dynamics and challenges.
