Relocation Management Company & Strategic Business Development, is accountable for driving growth, retention, and operational excellence across our Relocation Management Company(RMC) business.

As a Director in Relocation Management Company & Strategic Business Development, you will own the end-to-end client relationship lifecycle for relocation management partners, blending strategic sales leadership with hands-on client account management. The role is responsible for delivering on P&L targets, deepening Fortune 1000 and relocation management company relationships, and ensuring seamless execution of home lending solutions for relocating employees. The Director will lead a national, matrixed team, manage complex contract negotiations, and serve as the primary voice of the client within Chase Home Lending and report directly to the Divisional Director of Consumer Direct.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a multiyear roadmap to grow the RMC segment, aligned with Chase Home Lending’s mission to enable sustainable homeownership and deepen client relationships.
  • Serve as the senior relationship owner for key RMC and corporate clients, representing Chase with C-suite and senior HR/mobility executives.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives to expand product offerings, drive lead generation, and increase client penetration.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders (Sales, Operations, Underwriting, Product, Digital) to deliver innovative, client-centric solutions.
  • Mentor and lead a high-performing, matrixed team of Client Account Managers and Direct Billing specialists, coach team members to operate at senior levels with client partners and to identify and mitigate risks proactively and foster a culture of strategic advisory, sales excellence, and client advocacy.
  • Oversee the full client lifecycle: onboarding, contract negotiation, program delivery, and ongoing relationship management
  • Develop and execute account penetration and retention strategies for a portfolio of RMC clients and act as a trusted advisor, providing industry insights, regulatory updates, and benchmarking to client partners
  • Ensure best-in-class service delivery, including direct billing, subsidy management, and issue resolution.
  • Own segment P&L, including forecasting, profitability, and volume targets; manage direct billing, subsidies, buy-downs, and write-offs to optimize financial performance and review account productivity, profitability, and quality with internal partners.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory, legal, and contractual requirements and identify and manage risks related to client programs, credit policies, and loan purchase processes.
  • Represent Chase Home Lending nationally at industry events, with Fortune 1000 clients, and within the mobility/relocation ecosystem and build and maintain a strong external network to position Chase as the preferred provider in the RMC space.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • 15+ years’ experience in mortgage banking, relocation/mobility industry, or related financial services.
  • Proven track record in B2B sales, strategic account management, and team leadership in matrixed environments.
  • Proven track record in Relocation Management Company (RMC) business development and client management.
  • Deep understanding of mortgage origination, mobility/relocation programs, and corporate client needs.
  • Experience negotiating complex contracts and managing large, multi-year client relationships.
  • Strong analytical, financial, and risk management skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a bias for action and innovation and exceptional relationship builder and communicator.
  • Highly organized, disciplined, and results-oriented and able to navigate complex, matrixed organizations and influence at all levels.
  • Commitment to integrity, compliance, and delivering a best-in-class client experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Up to 60-70% national travel required.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Certified Relocation Professional (CRP) and/or Global Mobility Specialist (GMS) designation.
  • Experience with FNMA/FHLMC/FHA/VA programs and policies.
  • Demonstrated success leading geographically dispersed teams.
  • Expertise in direct billing, subsidy management, and P&L ownership.
  • High proficiency in MS Excel and CRM systems.
  • Advanced degree (MBA, MS Finance) preferred.
