As an Account Maintenance Specialist within the InstaMed team at JPMorgan Chase, you will be responsible for processing change requests to existing clients while upholding the data integrity of the InstaMed client database and ensuring requests are completed by authorized parties. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, disciplined follow-up, and the ability to make accurate judgement calls. You will master necessary standard operating procedures to accurately and effectively complete change requests, identify and resolve issues, and escalate as needed. Effective communication and teamwork is essential.

Job responsibilities

  • Process updates to existing accounts efficiently and accurately.
  • Perform due diligence and adhere to internal standards to prevent fraud and ensure compliance of anti-money laundering policies.
  • Manage multiple work queues of change requests, prioritizing as needed to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
  • Communicate requirements, updates, and timelines clearly and professionally both to internal and external stakeholders, fostering positive relationships.
  • Collaborate with internal team members to ensure all requirements are met and errors are minimized.
  • Investigate and resolve open issues using available resources (e.g., Support Tool, Salesforce).
  • Develop expertise in departmental procedures, maintain compliance with business requirements, and perform any other duties as assigned.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Proficiency with computer, typing, and Microsoft Office products; easily able to learn new software/programs.
  • Effective and professional communication.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Resourceful analytic thinking.
  • Sound judgment required.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Experience with Salesforce or knowledge of healthcare and/or financial industry is beneficial.
