The Firmwide Regulatory Reporting & Analysis (FRRA) team is a global team with teams working from Bangalore/Mumbai (India), Warsaw (Poland) and New York/Brooklyn/Delaware (U.S). The team is responsible for the production and filing of U.S Regulatory reports and supporting the technology for the production and filing process.

Job Summary

As a Vice President within the Firmwide Regulatory Reporting & Analysis (FRRA) team, you will be responsible for leading the global production and filing of U.S. regulatory reports, as well as supporting the technology processes that enable accurate and timely reporting. You will coordinate with stakeholders across multiple locations (India, Poland, and the U.S.), ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements from agencies such as the Federal Reserve Board (FRB), Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), and Federal Deposit Insurance Corp (FDIC). Your role will involve preparing and reviewing key regulatory reports (including FRY-9C, Call, FRY-15, FFIEC 009, FRY-14, FRY-11, FRY-2314, and Treasury International Capital), consolidating and analyzing financial data, and implementing robust control procedures to maintain data integrity.

Job responsibilities

  • Regulatory report preparation in accordance with the instructions from Federal Reserve Board (FRB), Office of the Comptroller of the currency (OCC), Federal Deposits Insurance Corp, etc supporting reports/schedules – FRY-9C, Call, FRY-15, FFIEC 009, FRY-14, FRY-11, FRY-2314, Treasury International Capital, etc
  • Coordinating / Partnering with various stakeholders (Schedule Preparers/Data Contributors/Control Owners/Technology Partners) to submit/receive and review data through the process of report preparation
  • Consolidate, review, and analyze monthly/quarterly and annual financial data for accuracy and completeness
  • Partner in broader strategic initiatives across external reporting group – support in the implementation of the firmwide accepted data lake for reporting
  • Develop and implement various control procedures and edit checks to ensure the integrity of reported financial results
  • Perform quarter-over-quarter variance consolidation and review
  • Maintain familiarity of accounting pronouncements and disclosure requirements
  • Understand the regulatory data architecture to be able to provide support during implementation of new or enhancement of existing tools
  • Strong interpersonal and partnership skills, communicating and presenting to various levels of stakeholders
  • Talent acquisition, development and motivation of the team including objective setting, performance appraisals and career planning

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • CA/CPA/MBA with 8+ years or B. COM with 12+ years in Finance domain with exposure to accounting, financial statements and preferably regulatory reporting.
  • Team management experience for 5 + years
  • Experience in Product Control, Financial Control and/or knowledge of Regulatory Reporting a plus
  • Understanding of regulatory data architecture
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal, communication and influencing skills
  • Ability to summarize complex information and deliver it at business executive level
