As a Business Analysis Associate I in the Organizational Effectiveness and Oversight team, you will support business change and oversight by creating, delivering, and managing data and information that helps us plan, track, and execute regulatory and business-driven updates. You will analyze trends, improve data integrity, and build automation that reduces manual effort and strengthens operational workflows. You will partner with subject matter experts and leaders to share insights, provide status updates, and support well-documented, end-to-end execution.
Job responsibilities
- Collaborate with subject matter experts across the business to track data quality issues and identify next actions.
- Analyze data trends to identify problems, develop solutions, and deliver actionable recommendations.
- Develop automation solutions for operational workflows to optimize processes and reduce manual effort.
- Lead citizen developer and automation initiatives that support streamlined processes.
- Ensure data integrity through automated extraction, translation, processing, analysis, and reporting.
- Create executive-level presentations and status updates for stakeholders.
- Document end-to-end process execution with clear, detailed steps and requirements.
- Track project and change request progress to support intake, planning, monitoring, and reporting.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Demonstrate advanced proficiency in Alteryx, Excel, and Tableau, including building and troubleshooting workflows.
- Demonstrate strong communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrate experience creating presentations and executive-ready reporting with clear key messages.
- Demonstrate ability to work with audit, compliance, and regulatory partners in line with established procedures.
- Demonstrate knowledge of risk and controls, including raising control-related issues to appropriate stakeholders.
- Demonstrate strong time management and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrate strong analytical reasoning and critical-thinking/problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrate experience analyzing large, complex datasets in Excel.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Demonstrate proficiency in one or more data mining tools (for example, SQL Developer, Toad, or UiPath).
- Have 2 years of experience in a business analyst, project management, process improvement, or controls role.
- Have 3 years of Home Lending experience
