As an analyst supporting institutional clients and partnering closely with JPMorgan Chase Asset Management’s Client Advisors, you will play a key role in strengthening the institutional client experience across our alternative investment platform. Your focus will be on enabling high-quality client servicing through improved data, streamlined reporting, and automation—while collaborating with internal teams to drive process improvement and scalable client communications.
You will work across teams (e.g., Client Advisors, Investment Research, Risk, Data Management, and Technology) to support client deliverables including reporting, portfolio reviews, ad hoc requests, and leadership communication. You will help identify opportunities to improve how information is produced, enriched, and delivered to clients—driving the development and ownership of an improved client servicing model across the platform.
Job Responsibilities:
- Support institutional client coverage and partner with Client Advisors to deliver a consistent, high-quality servicing experience across the alternative investments platform.
- Develop and own a holistic institutional client servicing model, including reporting, portfolio reviews, ad hoc queries, and communication/escalation to team leadership.
- Drive the development and ownership of an improved client servicing model to enhance the experience of clients across the platform.
- Collaborate with various teams to support data enrichment and automation efforts to enhance the client experience.
- Monitor and support ad hoc reporting requests from clients, analysts, portfolio managers, and the risk team.
- Support ongoing reporting and analytical needs, focusing on eliminating duplication, enhancing efficiency, and achieving full automation.
- Assist in overseeing data management tasks and supporting the development of tools/processes to ensure data completeness and quality.
- Participate in technology and process initiatives, including reengineering legacy processes, implementing new technologies, and identifying automation opportunities.
- Work with senior team members to identify projects that enhance the team’s quantitative capabilities and client servicing delivery.
- Stay informed about investment and strategy modeling needs that may require system or workflow support.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Financial Engineering, Accounting, Economics, or Finance.
- Atleast 2 years of experience in financial services, ideally working with hedge funds or private credit.
- Intermediate-level knowledge of software engineering concepts and hands-on experience with scripting languages and data analysis tools, including Python and Tableau.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both written and oral, with the ability to interact with all levels of an organization.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team dynamic.
- Strong critical thinking skills, with the ability to analyze and solve business problems.

Capability to assess current processes and the overall control environment, identify areas for improvement, and leverage technology to implement practical solutions.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- General familiarity with hedge fund strategies, risk management, and portfolio construction concepts is a plus.
- A genuine interest in learning about the hedge fund solutions business and the dynamics of financial markets, including stocks, bonds, commodities, and derivatives.
