EMEA Regional Control Management- Associate

Help shape how we manage governance and controls across Europe. In this role, you will keep key control committees running smoothly, with clear materials, accurate minutes, and timely follow-through. You will partner with stakeholders across lines of business and functions, gaining broad regional exposure.
As a Control Management Associate within the EMEA Regional Controls team you will get the exposure to all lines of businesses and functions that operate in the region. You will have key governance secretariat responsibilities for various formal control governance committees within EMEA, run by our EMEA Location Control Managers (LCMs). The secretariat team provide support to the LCMs to ensure the governance framework operates in a timely manner with continuous review of the framework for effectiveness. You will be responsible for identification, design, delivery and project management of process improvement and control related initiatives.
Job Responsibilities
- Initiate the coordination for the gathering of submissions from various lines of business and functional group representatives across Europe
- Collation of the committee materials ensuring the timely and high quality presentation in readiness for location control managers to review
- Identifying opportunities for refining and enhancing the process where possible to create positive change
- Work as a team with the other secretariats in a dynamic and collaborative environment to ensure appropriate coverage of Control Committees
- Identification, ownership and project management of control and process improvements
- Coordination of project management scorecard updates and chairing of project working groups where required
- Managing the secretariat responsibilities, the SharePoint and maintaining the correct dates, participants and submitters for the Control Committees.
- Preparing and distributing accurate and timely meeting minutes for the various control committees
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Strong personality and team player able to partner closely with peers who share the responsibility of the governance secretariat across the whole of Europe
- Highly motivated, energetic self-starter who takes ownership
- Good organizational skills - manages & prioritizes multiple tasks and high focus on quality
- Investigative mind-set, able to see issues at both a high-level and in detail, and understand applicability across the business
- Strong analytical, problem solving & process re-engineering skills
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Good judgment, maturity and poise to identify risks and escalate where required
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Excellent Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills
- Confident communicating with and influencing stakeholders where appropriate
- Experience automating workflows/processes is highly desirable
