As an Associate – Finance Data Analytics, Business Intelligence Analyst within the International Consumer Banking Data and Analytics function, you will support the Finance organization by delivering data‑driven insights and analytics solutions. You will contribute to the development of a finance data platform that supports financial control activities and management decision‑making. The role focuses on building analytics, reporting, and data models that enable accurate, timely, and actionable financial insights. You will collaborate closely with finance stakeholders and data partners to translate business needs into scalable analytics solutions.
Job Responsibilities :
  • Collaborate with finance stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into data requirements and business intelligence solutions
  • Develop Python‑based analytics solutions to support data modeling workflows and reusable analytical outputs
  • Perform reconciliation checks between source systems and the general ledger, identifying issues and investigating root causes
  • Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports that deliver financial insights and critical business outputs
  • Use SQL to conduct self‑service analysis, validate results, and ensure data accuracy and integrity across sources
  • Partner with data engineers and architects to define, test, and enhance curated data models and views
  • Present complex financial data in clear, visually effective formats to support storytelling and decision‑making
  • Ensure adherence to governance, controls, and standards for business intelligence solutions
  • Support continuous improvement of analytics processes, tooling, and data quality
  • Contribute to cross‑functional initiatives supporting finance transformation objectives

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills :
  • Minimum three years of experience working with business intelligence or analytics platforms
  • Strong proficiency in SQL with a practical data modeling mindset
  • Experience performing financial reconciliations and investigating data discrepancies
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail
  • Experience developing data visualizations and dashboards with sound user experience judgment
  • Ability to communicate complex data insights clearly in written and verbal formats
  • Experience working in cross‑functional teams in an agile or delivery‑focused environment
  • Understanding of finance data, reporting, or accounting concepts
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in data analytics, computer science, finance, accounting, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills :
  • Experience supporting large‑scale digital or finance transformation initiatives
  • Familiarity with Python for analytics development and data modeling support
  • Experience working with finance or financial services data
  • Exposure to modern analytics or data visualization tools
  • Practical understanding of retail banking products such as current accounts, credit cards, insurance, or mortgages
