In Asset Management’s Alternatives business, our Core Operations Analysts help ensure investors, funds, and internal partners receive accurate, timely trade support and reporting—strengthening controls, reducing risk, and enabling scalable growth across a dynamic, global platform.
As a Core Operations Analyst in Asset Management, Alternatives, you will deliver end-to-end trade support by reconciling fund-, investment-, and portfolio-level hedge fund advisory data and accurately capturing it across the firm’s operating platforms. As a key operations partner to the business, you will provide direct support and oversee reporting, data compilation, and analysis to ensure timely, high-quality output. This is a fast-paced, deadline-driven role with broad exposure across products, processes, and global stakeholders. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment, can manage multiple priorities, executes bespoke processes with precision, communicates clearly, and collaborates effectively across regions.
Job responsibilities
- Operate across multiple banking and financial operations platforms in a fast-paced environment, identifying opportunities to streamline workflows and drive efficiency through process enhancements.
- Perform daily cash and account oversight at the fund and investment level, including cash projections, overdraft monitoring, issue investigation, and timely remediation.
- Manage bank account lifecycle activities (openings, closings, and maintenance), partnering with internal stakeholders and third-party banking providers to ensure timely execution and strong service levels.
- Execute end-to-end data collection and validation for Alternatives Asset investors, funds, and investment-level activity, ensuring documentation is complete, accurate, and captured within required timeframes.
- Provide high-volume trade support across investor and fund transactions, including timely booking, subscription/redemption processing, and coordination of trade settlements to meet tight deadlines.
- Maintain a strong control and governance framework, keeping procedures and checklists current and delivering metrics and reporting across required cadences.
- Partner cross-functionally with technology and business teams to improve operational processes, reduce risk, prevent errors, and strengthen overall control discipline.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution.
- Relevant financial services operations experience (internship, rotational program, or full-time), supported by applicable coursework.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage professionally with partners at all levels.
- Highly self-motivated and proactive, able to work independently while contributing effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with sound judgment and the ability to make timely decisions using incomplete or evolving information when needed.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining attention to detail and control discipline.
- Process improvement mindset, able to assess end-to-end impacts, identify enhancement opportunities, and drive execution through completion.
- Adaptable and resilient, comfortable navigating a rapidly changing business, operational, and technical landscape.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong working knowledge of PowerPoint (Microsoft Office overall proficiency required).
- Proficiency with modern AI-enabled tools and process improvement technologies, staying current with industry advancements and applying them to drive efficiency, accuracy, and scalable operational outcomes.

- Business, Finance, Economics, or related discipline.
