Build and scale the firm’s foundational product capabilities by leading complex, cross-functional delivery from plan to release. You’ll align Product, Engineering, Data, Operations, and control partners to execute with strong governance, clear decisioning, and measurable outcomes—ensuring every launch is resilient, compliant, and predictable.
As a Project Manager in the Core Product team, you will lead delivery of complex, cross-functional initiatives that strengthen and scale foundational product capabilities (e.g., shared platforms/services, enterprise APIs, identity/entitlements, data foundations, workflow and enablement tooling). You will role drives end-to-end execution, governance, and stakeholder alignment across Product, Engineering, Data, Operations, Cyber/Technology Controls, Risk, Legal, and Compliance to deliver outcomes predictably and safely.
Job responsibilities
- Own delivery plans across multiple workstreams: scope, timeline, resourcing, dependencies, budget (where applicable), and release milestones.
- Drive tradeoff decisions (scope vs. time vs. risk) and ensure decisions are documented and executed.
- Establish operating cadence and governance (weekly/biweekly), including exec-ready status reporting, decision logs, and escalation paths.
- Lead stakeholder forums / steerco readouts, translating complex delivery details into clear narrative, risks, and asks.
- Partner with Product and Engineering to translate roadmaps into executable quarterly plans and delivery commitments.
- Coordinate cross-team and cross-Line of Business interlocks, including sequencing and integration points.
- Manage RAID, delivery risk, control gaps, and operational readiness, engaging Technology Controls, Risk, Legal, and Compliance as needed.
- Support audit/regulatory-ready documentation, including evidence collection, approvals, and traceability.
- Execute release planning and delivery: cutover readiness, change management, post-release validation, and hyper care where needed.
- Ensure quality, resilience, and performance outcomes in partnership with engineering and production support.
- Define and improve delivery performance (e.g., milestone attainment, predictability, defect leakage, readiness, dependency burndown) and continuous improvement (retros/playbooks/templates/tooling).
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Proven ability to lead and manage complex programs or projects, delivering results across various business units, typically demonstrated through 7+ years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrated proficiency in data analytics, with the ability to interpret models, make inferences from data, and provide continuous insight for program execution.
- Proven experience in conflict management, with the ability to identify conflicts, facilitate discussions, and create win-win solutions using collaboration or negotiation strategies.
- Advanced computer literacy, with the ability to effectively use technology to perform tasks, solve problems, and communicate in a professional setting.
- Proficiency in strategic thinking, with the ability to use data to understand issues and opportunities, evaluate potential scenarios, and collaborate on strategy and priority development.
