As a Reference Data Analyst within our Operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our data systems. You will collaborate with internal business partners to manage data encoding and maintain compliance with the Bank’s legal guidelines and standards. In this role, you will have the opportunity to demonstrate your problem-solving skills and sound judgment in decision-making, while adhering to established Service Level Agreements.

Job responsibilities:

  • Manage the reference data encoding, including the set up and maintenance data entered on the system
  • Communicate effectively through email and phone internal business partners.
  • Ensure data conforms to the Bank’s legal guidelines, policies, and standards, mitigating risks through adherence to the control framework.
  • Ensure daily deliverables are met, managing internal team issues, escalations, and error resolution.
  • Demonstrate creative problem-solving and sound judgment in decision-making.
  • Adhere to policy and procedures, meeting or exceeding established Service Level Agreements.
  • Diligent awareness of risks in processes and address issues in a timely manner.
  • Exhibit ownership, proper escalation, and resolution promptly.
  • Establish clear timelines and manage documentation requirements to set clear expectations.
  • Handle Start and End of day reports for Business reporting updates.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Relevant experience or knowledge of account products relevant to JPM Access, Chase Connect system and ACH.
  • Ability to review and analyze information from multiple sources and determine relevancy.
  • Proven ability to independently identify issues, analyze problems, and provide viable account and documentation solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong client focus and ability to partner with various internal groups.
  • Amenable to work on a night shift.

TENURE:

  • Must meet minimum employment tenure requirement. Specific roles require longer tenure in current position to be eligible to apply. Unless established for specific positions by the line of business, the standard tenure requirement is 12 months.
