As a Product Manager - Vice President in Wholesale Credit Risk, you will partner with stakeholders and technology teams to build and enhance core platform components. You will translate user needs into a prioritized roadmap, define measurable success metrics, and guide delivery through an Agile/Scrum model. You will influence technical approaches, ensure high-quality releases, and drive continuous service improvement through effective governance and feedback loops.
Job responsibilities
- Partner with subject matter experts and stakeholders to understand use cases, pain points, and industry trends
- Collaborate with architects and technologists to influence solution design, integrations, and delivery approach
- Define product strategy, vision, and a prioritized roadmap of enhancements and new capabilities
- Lead discovery and research to identify customer problems and translate insights into product opportunities
- Elicit and document requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to align teams on “what good looks like”
- Establish product success metrics and analyze performance to inform prioritization and iteration
- Facilitate Agile/Scrum ceremonies and drive execution to deliver timely, high-quality releases
- Deliver product demos and run product reviews to capture feedback and improve outcomes
- Coordinate release management activities and ensure issues are tracked, prioritized, and remediated quickly
- Validate features meet specifications through testing support, stakeholder reviews, and readiness checks
- Conduct governance reviews and implement a plan for continuous service improvement
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field
- 7+ years of product management, product development, or closely related experience
- Demonstrated experience in process re-engineering or similar transformation work
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including preparing executive-level materials
- Proven ability to lead through influence, drive consensus, and deliver in a matrix organization
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with ability to manage competing priorities under tight deadlines
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively and build strong cross-functional partnerships
- High initiative, intellectual curiosity, and ability to learn quickly while working under pressure
- Experience using data analysis and metrics to drive prioritization and decisions
- Advanced knowledge of the product development lifecycle, platform design, software architecture, and data analytics
- Working knowledge of system/software architecture concepts (services, integrations, data flows), including data models and APIs
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience in large financial services organizations
- Basic domain knowledge in credit risk
- Experience partnering with technology and user experience design teams on solution design
