Join Markets Trading Document Management Operations to convert complex agreements into trading-ready, controlled data. Own quality, productivity, and regulatory delivery while partnering with Legal, Credit, Business, Ops, and Technology.


As a Reference Data Analyst within Documentation Management (Document Management Operations – Markets Trading Group), you review legal agreements and extract legal/financial parameters to be indexed accurately in JPMorganChase systems. You manage issue identification and escalation, partnering with internal functions such as Credit and Legal to resolve disputes within agreed timeframes while delivering regulatory initiatives such as Pushout. You drive operational excellence by meeting productivity and quality measures and contributing to an efficient operating framework across business, operations, legal operations, and technology.

Job Responsibilities

  • Review derivatives and financing documentation (ISDA, CSA, Financing, F&O, OTC, Prime Brokerage) and extract meaningful legal and financial parameters.
  • Index extracted parameters accurately within firm systems, maintaining high standards of data quality and completeness.
  • Coordinate resolution of disputed documentation points by engaging internal partners (e.g., Credit, Legal) within defined timelines.
  • Support Markets regulatory projects such as Pushout, enabling transfer of clients between legal entities with disciplined execution.
  • Collaborate with key partners in legal, business, operations, and technology to develop and enhance an efficient operating framework.
  • Work closely with regional Legal Operations teams responsible for ISDA master agreement negotiation and transactions to align execution and outcomes.
  • Deliver against productivity and quality performance measures, prioritizing work effectively and meeting deadlines across shifting requirements.

Required qualifications, skills and capabilities

  • 3+ years experience in derivatives master agreements and trade-related documentation within an investment bank or law firm
  • Strong understanding of derivative legal documents including ISDA and CSA
  • Proficiency in MS Office and strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize issues, execute independently and in a team, and work to deadlines with strong organizational skills

Preferred qualifications, skills and capabilities

  • Graduate degree in Law or Commerce
  • Postgraduate qualification such as MBA or LLB
  • Experience handling documentation issue resolution across Credit/Legal/Business stakeholders
  • Flexibility to work shifts and support time-critical deliverables across regions
