The J.P. Morgan Wealth Management Communications team is seeking a communications expert to lead the editorial strategy and day-to-day management of its intranet, read by over 10,000 employees, and serve as a key voice for the CEO's internal communications.

As a Vice President of Internal and Executive Communications within J.P. Morgan Wealth Management Communications, you will serve as the primary communicator for the CEO, crafting newsletters and internal notes that reflect the voice, priorities and leadership style. You will be a self-starter who is detail-oriented and values teamwork. You will be creative and have the ability to proactively identify story ideas and exceptional writing and editing skills.

Job responsibilities

  • Manage the J.P. Morgan Wealth Management intranet and develop an ongoing editorial calendar, ensuring content is timely, relevant and aligned with business priorities and the broader employee experience.

  • Source, brainstorm and develop story ideas from across J.P. Morgan Wealth Management's business channels, publishing content that keeps employees informed and connected.

  • Write and edit the CEO's newsletters and internal notes, capturing her voice, tone and messaging with precision and authenticity.

  • Partner closely with multimedia, social, and firmwide communications teams to amplify stories and create content plans for major initiatives and programs.

  • Develop and track metrics that demonstrate the impact of communications work to measure meaningful connection.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • 7+ years of experience in a writing-intensive communications, journalism or editorial role.

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Proven ability to ghostwrite for senior executives with a keen ear for voice, tone and nuance.

  • Exceptionally quick learner who can understand financial services and wealth management topics and translate them into clear, digestible content for a broad audience.

  • Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of employees.

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-profile, fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Experience working in financial services or wealth management is a plus.
