Job Summary:
As a Product Manager (Associate - 601) on the Small Business Launch and Capabilities Team, you will own and drive end-to-end product delivery. This role partners closely with engineering, design, data/analytics, controls/risk, legal/compliance, operations, and business stakeholders to define the roadmap, translate customer needs into clear requirements, and deliver measurable outcomes.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute product strategies that align with Small Business Card’s vision and goals.
- Conduct market research and analyze customer feedback to identify opportunities for enhancements and new offerings.
- Lead product development initiatives from concept to launch, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality standards.
- Define new features, gather requirements, and create user stories.
- Define and monitor performance, identify enhancements, and create remediation plans.
- Communicate product vision and updates to internal teams and external partners.
- Manage product backlog, ensure agile metrics, and support production, issue resolution and prioritization.
- Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure a strong risk and controls environment.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- 1+ years of product management experience delivering products in a complex environment.
- Strong ability to write clear requirements (PRDs, user stories, process flows) and drive prioritization with support from leadership.
- Demonstrated experience working with engineering teams and balancing business goals with technical realities while working in an Agile environment.
- Experience with road mapping, prioritization, requirements definition, and backlog management.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Strong communication skills—able to influence without authority and manage competing stakeholder needs.
- Comfortable with ambiguity; strong problem-solving and structured thinking.
- Experience in financial services or highly regulated environments.
- Strong analytics orientation (e.g., defining metrics, using dashboards, A/B testing where applicable).
- Data-driven decisioning (KPIs, funnels, adoption metrics).
