As a Senior Product Associate in Marketing Data Platforms, you contribute to the team by leveraging your expertise in product development and optimization to make a significant impact, supported by user research and customer feedback to fuel the creation of innovative products and continuously improve existing offerings. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and play a crucial role in shaping the future of our products and ongoing success.

In this role, you will also be on the forefront of enabling emerging technologies such as agentic AI across all Consumer and Community Banking LOBs. You will regularly apply your hands-on data skills, utilizing tools like SQL, Excel pivot tables, Alteryx, Tableau, Python, and others to dive deep into data flows and validate quality. You will be directly involved in managing the integrity and operation of critical data connections with partners both internal and external. Your ability to quickly build proof-of-concepts and draft detailed technical requirements will accelerate product development cycles.

Job responsibilities
  • Partners with the Product Manager to identify new product opportunities that reflect the needs of our customers and the market through user research and discovery
  • Considers and plans for upstream and downstream implications of new product features on the overall product experience
  • Supports the collection of user research, journey mapping, and market analysis to inform the strategic product roadmap and provide insight on potential product features that provide value to customers
  • Analyzes, tracks, and evaluates product metrics including work to time, cost, and quality targets across the product development life cycle
  • Writes the requirements, epics, and user stories to support product development
  • Identify opportunities across all Consumer and Community Banking LOBs for modern technologies, such as agentic AI, to help optimize marketing outcomes
  • Apply hands-on data analysis skills, leveraging tools like SQL, Alteryx, Tableau, and Excel to explore data, troubleshoot issues, and validate data integrity
  • Build data-driven proof-of-concepts to test hypotheses and inform product development decisions
  • Translate business needs into clear, concise, and technically informed requirements for epics and user stories to be consumed by an engineering team
  • Partner with marketing analytics, growth teams, and other stakeholders to understand their data needs and ensure the data solution(s) enable their objectives
  • Manage relationships and technical interactions with third-party vendors
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • 3+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area.
  • Proficient knowledge of the product development life cycle.
  • Experience in product life cycle activities including discovery and requirements definition.
  • Developing knowledge of data analytics and data literacy.
  • Demonstrated strong proficiency in SQL for complex data querying, analysis, and validation.
  • Hands-on experience with data manipulation and transformation tools such as Alteryx, Tableau Prep, or Dataiku.
  • Experience utilizing data visualization tools like Tableau and spreadsheet software like Excel.
  • Experience in translating complex data requirements and business needs into actionable product specifications and user stories.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills with a data-driven mindset.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python) for data manipulation, automation, and/or interacting with APIs.
  • Direct experience working with data from Mobile Measurement Partners (MMPs), Multi-Touch Attribution providers, and/or aggregated campaign reporting platforms.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based data warehousing or data lake solutions (e.g., Snowflake, Google BigQuery, Amazon AWS).
  • Understanding of data modeling, schema design, and/or data governance principles.
  • Experience working with data specifically used for A/B testing or marketing experimentation.
  • Deeper domain knowledge within the marketing analytics or advertising technology ecosystem.
