Job Summary

As a Legal Analyst in the JPMorgan Wealth Management Office of General Counsel, you will provide legal support to the wealth management business focused on U.S. investment and insurance product matters. You will review and draft legal documents, conduct legal and market research, and support regulatory projects and business requests. You will work closely with colleagues on the legal team and a range of internal stakeholders to help deliver timely, accurate, and well-reasoned legal support.


Job Responsibilities

  • Review and draft legal documents, including agreements, forms, disclosures, and marketing materials
  • Conduct legal and market research to support legal advice and business decision-making
  • Support product partners, sales management, operations, and supervisory teams by responding to escalations and inquiries routed to the legal team
  • Identify potential legal and regulatory issues and escalate to senior team members when appropriate
  • Coordinate with internal business partners to support timely execution of legal deliverables
  • Maintain organized documentation and support tracking of requests, approvals, and deliverables
  • Support regulatory projects and business initiatives, including preparation of materials and summaries for internal stakeholders
  • Contribute to special projects as assigned

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with ability to work in a deadline-driven environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish
  • Ability to read and write comfortably in English; proficiency testing may apply
  • Sound judgment, including ability to escalate issues appropriately
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work effectively with stakeholders across different teams and levels

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Experience supporting legal, compliance, risk, or business control activities in financial services
  • Familiarity with investment products, insurance products, or wealth management business models
  • Experience reviewing contracts, disclosures, or marketing materials
  • Experience supporting regulatory change or business initiatives in a regulated environment
  • Demonstrated ability to improve processes for tracking and managing legal requests
